Mr. Jung Geun TakIndustrial Designer, Continuum
Jung Geun Tak is award winning designer. He has been working in innovative products and concept projects at Design Continuum in Boston since 2005 when, he worked on OLPC (One Hundred Laptop per Child) project on the MIT media lab, Received numerous accolades, including the IDSA Design of the Decade Bronze award, 2010, and the IDEA Silver award, 2006.
Jung’s sustainable concepts have won numerous awards and reviewed in innovation, PC magazines, Metropolis Magazine, and ID magazine. Ubicycle was the first a bike sharing plan for USA commuters, 2006. The second bike sharing concept design, Cyclink, won the special prize from the City of Copenhagen, 2009. T-Bike was born a year later for City of Seoul, 2010. The public bike sharing ideas has been developed by the unique regional needs.
Currently serving as Lead Designer for this lever-powered, wheelchair-based mobility aid; instrumental in envisioning chair design. Recipient of the Spark Gold award, 2010, IDEA bronze award, 2011, and Red dot, 2011.
