Mr. Yong Duk Jhun is a well known digital cinematographer in the animation industry. He has been working at DreamWorks Animation since 2003 and has been a head of layout since 2005. He supervised the Layout team of Kung Fu Panda (2008, DreamWorks), Shrek Forever After (2010, DreamWorks) and currently is supervising The Croods (2012, DreamWorks). His work is closely related to what a cinematographer does in the live action film industry; telling the story through the camera. His entrepreneurial journey started at age of 19 in Korea, when he established BuyHard Productions, an independent music label chosen as the most promising e-business in Korea in 2001. After early success in Asia, his ambition led him towards global markets and to New York, where he was the sole representative of an international music company. Rev. Sung Chul ParkTitle: Community Work

Rev. Sung Chul Park

Rev. Sung Chul Park is Executive Director at Korean Adoptees Ministry Center. Rev. Park is also heavily involved in Korean Institute of Minnesota and Korean Culture Camps. Rev. Park received his bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University in Business Administration. He taught high school for over 8 years, and also partnered at a CPA firm. Then, he moved to the United States in 1974 to pursue a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. After graduating, he worked at Fortune 500 companies as an internal auditor or a computer consultant, and taught finance and accounting at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, and at Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota. Since 1976, Rev. Park and his write have met over 10,000 Korean adoptees during the last twenty-five years. Through this experience, they learned that teaching adoptees about their Korean heritage was insufficient to help address the complex identity issues they face. more…

Ms. Saba Gul & Ms. Elena Conds

Ms. Saba Gul is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of BLISS, and a recent alumnus of MIT, where she studied Computer Science and Economics. She also works as a software architect at Thomson Reuters. She has a passion for international development, education and entrepreneurship. Previously, she has worked on solar lighting projects in post-tsunami Sri Lanka and taught entrepreneurial seminars in Ethiopia. She was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan.

Ms. Saba Gul & Ms. Elena Conds

Ms. Elena Condos is RoomToRead Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter Leader. Ms. Condos has traveled extensively and is involved in several nonprofit organizations focused on global education and development. She has witnessed the educational disparities and lack of resources facing children in developing countries and believes Room to Read serves a critical stepping stone to eradicate poverty through literacy and education. Ms. Condos works as a Strategic Marketing Manager in Global Marketing at Thomson Reuters. more…
